Joshua Fletcher

There's a unique story to share from every business and community in Georgia and Josh Fletcher helps curate, produce, and promote those stories. As the Lead Content Producer, he works closely with our team to promote the state using a variety of mediums and techniques to ensure that Georgia's not only on your mind, but in your heart as well.

Prior to joining our team, Joshua served as the Senior Copywriter for Georgia Power Corporate Affairs – where he worked across brand creative and external media to create both long and short-form storytelling and language to enhance the brand.

Before joining Georgia Power, Josh founded Marigolden Creative where he created copy and content for brands such as Coca-Cola, Oust, Citizen Supply, and SalesLoft among a host of others. He's also held positions in the nonprofit sector as well as the Georgia Department of Economic Development where he created and managed managed multiple digital and print content campaigns.

Josh is a graduate of Georgia Tech where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a concentration in marketing. He has since received certificates in design and creative direction from Watkins College of Design, General Assembly, and the Miami Ad School. Josh is an active member of Georgia Power's ADAPPT employee resource group and currently serves as the Communications and Marketing Chair.

Josh cut his creative teeth in the music industry. Prior to his work as a marketing content creative, he spent over a decade as a touring singer/songwriter – writing and releasing several albums and performing hundreds of concerts around the country both as a solo artist and as a part of a band. He still performs regularly and is working on a fourth studio release.

When he isn't in the office or on stage, you can find him chasing mellow waves or traveling with his family. Josh lives in Southwest Atlanta with his wife, two kids, and a beagle named Conway.
