Madelyn Bearn most recently served as Director of Market Analytics at CoStar Group, based in Atlanta, where she directed market intelligence efforts and delivered strategic insight on commercial real estate trends across the office, industrial, multifamily, and retail sectors. In this leadership role, she advised clients and stakeholders on evolving market dynamics, economic conditions, and growth opportunities while helping shape conversations around the future of the region’s commercial real estate landscape. Madelyn is a frequent speaker at state-of-the-market events, and her analysis has been featured in leading publications, including The Wall Street Journal and Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Previously, Madelyn spearheaded research initiatives in economic development at Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. and served as Director of Research at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, where she chaired the Atlanta Data Council, bringing together regional leaders to advance data-driven decision-making and collaboration across the region. She was selected to participate in Georgia Forward’s Young Gamechangers program and earned the Certified Economic Research Professional (CERP) designation through C2ER.
Madelyn holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and brings a collaborative, data-driven approach to market intelligence, leadership, and urban growth strategies.
Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and cheering on the Atlanta Dream. Most of all, she values spending quality time with her family and staying connected to the Atlanta community she proudly calls home.
