Arnive Blanchard

Arnive Blanchard is responsible for managing and enhancing the geographic information system (GIS) for SelectGeorgia.com - the Site Selector. The department's main search tool helps business recruitment managers, prospects, and communities identify available buildings and sites all over the state. He also is responsible for the department’s GIS database and providing project support.

Arnive spent the beginning of his career at Georgia Power and Southern Company, as a Senior IT Field Operations Technician and an End User Analyst assisting Community & Economic Development as well as many other departments with all matters relating to IT and software. He was instrumental in the design, renovation, and operations of the Georgia Experience Center and all the technology within.

Arnive graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Systems, a Minor in Computer Science, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Web Site Design and Development. He serves as an assistant pastor to a local Christian ministry.

A native of Haiti, Arnive is a resident of the City of Hampton in Henry County with his wife, Laurie, and three young children. He serves as an assistant pastor to a local Christian ministry.
