Jasmine King has joined Georgia Power's Economic Development team as a Business Recruitment Director.
Jasmine brings more than a decade of experience spanning government affairs, public policy, business advocacy, and economic development. In her new role, she'll work alongside state, regional, and local partners to help bring new jobs and investment opportunities to communities across Georgia.
Since joining Georgia Power in 2022 as a Legislative Affairs Representative, Jasmine has helped navigate complex policy issues, build strong relationships with policymakers and stakeholders, and advocate for initiatives that support our customers, communities, and business environment.
Before Georgia Power, Jasmine served in several roles within the administrations of Governor Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal, supported economic development initiatives at Georgia Southern University, and represented Georgia's business community as Senior Director of State & Federal Government Affairs for the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
A proud University of Georgia graduate, Jasmine holds degrees in Mass Media Arts and Communication Studies, is a graduate of the Zell Miller Leadership Institute, and is a certified Protocol Officer through the Protocol School of Washington.
