Alexandra Coffey joined the Statewide Economic Development team as the Engagement Coordinator in 2025.
In this role, she leads the planning, execution, and strategy behind high-impact events designed to deepen engagement and drive business opportunities to Georgia.
Alex brings more than eight years of experience in marketing and event strategy, with roles at the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Gas South, Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, and Shepard Exposition Services.
Her background extends beyond events, encompassing renewable energy, project management, sponsorship and ticket management, storytelling-focused presentations, creative writing, and cultivating strong relationships across Georgia’s business community.
Alex is a graduate of the University of West Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Marketing.
Outside of work, Alex resides in Alpharetta with her Yorkie Lucy and enjoys spending time with family, racing half marathons, trying new recipes, and traveling the world. She has a passion for bringing people together and looks forward to applying her expertise to help drive business growth across the state.
