Coffee with Earnest
Here at the Georgia Experience Center, we're constantly working with our partners to help businesses get ready to move to or expand in our state. How do we do that? By having an awesome team of experts - Learn more about what we're up to here, every Wednesday, for a quick coffee break Q&A session. First up, Earnest the engineer:

What’s your role at the Georgia Resource Center?
I’m a Civil Engineer- we assist communities and project managers as they visualize potential projects and determine the feasibility of different locations.
What’s one word you feel describes economic development in Georgia?
Tell us your favorite part of your job.
Meeting the people we partner with throughout the state who are working on the same goals. It’s amazing to go to the counties we’re working in and seeing the impact our work does.
Favorite place in Georgia to get away to?
The North Georgia mountains.
What was your very first job, and what did it teach you?
Six Flags! I was 16 and very introverted until I started working there. It taught me to open up and talk to people. I honestly credit that job with where I am today.
Who inspires you?

What’s the best thing on Netflix?
Lost. All time-best TV show ever.
What are you most excited about when you come into work?
The jokes! Everyone in our office has a great sense of humor.
