Nicole Carter serves as the Marketing Manager for Georgia Power Community and Economic Development and leads a dynamic team of marketers, creatives and storytellers.
Prior to becoming the organization's Marketing Manager, she was Senior Customer Engagement Marketer where she managed marketing strategy and execution for Georgia Power's residential and commercial energy efficiency programs, GeorgiaPowerMarketplace.com (online e-commerce site) and all energy efficiency pilot programs. Additionally, she oversaw large-scale integrated campaigns responsible for educating customers on ways to save both energy and money.
Her marketing career has included a strong focus on digital marketing for brands such as Google, Dell, RSA Security, VMware, Gwinnett County government, and more. She's also served her community as an Economic Development Project Manager for the Gwinnett Chamber focusing on the recruitment and expansion of technology, digital entertainment and film companies. Her career has come full circle to perfectly blend her passions for marketing and economic development.
Nicole Carter is a graduate of the University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in International Business and Finance and a MBA from Georgia State University.
Nicole is married to Gerald Carter and they have two sons. They enjoy active outdoor activities and national and international travel.
